Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry Clasps
Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry Clasps
Many of my Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry creations are handmade
jewelry from scratch!
What does that mean?
The most enjoyable aspect of jewelry making for me, in this
case a necklace, is by taking precious metal wire and changing each piece of
wire into a chain link. Each chain link is connected forming the chain. Then I
will take precious metal wire and a beautiful stone and create a pendant if the
necklace calls for one.
Or in the case of a strung necklace, I take bead-wire and
create a beautiful design with stones.
After I connect the pendant or finish stringing the
necklace, I will create a strong, easy to use, beautiful clasp.
I like to think that Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry is known for
beautiful, easy to use, healing, durable, and feminine jewelry. Feminine
jewelry that accents the woman who wears it. Never taking center stage away from
the woman who wears it.
Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry uses two of the oldest ways to create
jewelry, which is Wire-wrapping and Bead-stringing. Wire-Wrapping started maybe
around 2275 BC. Pieces of Wire-wrapped jewelry were found in some of the
Ancient Egyptian tombs. Bead stringing started around 120,000 years ago.
Never using soldering to keep jewelry together, each piece
is created by hand, using Wire-wrapping to join the jewelry pieces together.
The handmade clasps are made to last a lifetime. Each side
of the clasp is made from one piece of heavy, precious metal wire.
The picture shares a comparison of a store-bought clasp vs
Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry clasp. The store-bought clasp is a good clasp. But it is
not easy to maneuver, especially for an older woman and people who have
arthritis in their hands.
The store-bought clasp is very small and so it will not be
seen. The Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry clasp is prominent. This clasp is a beautiful
piece of the necklace that deserves to be seen. Some of the Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry
clasps are smaller and/or a bit fancier.
The store-bought clasp has the ability to break due to its
spring in it.
The Cyn Bergsbaken Jewelry clasp has no spring in it. It
remains firm and sturdy for a life time.
