These eastern inspired earrings are totally handmade.
Each solid Sterling silver band was hammered to flare out and curve, creating movement when you walk.
The gemstone is Jet, a type of coal called lignite.
Jet was produced by nature. Submerged driftwood in the sea-floor goes under a process called lithification.
Thus, beautiful black and deep brown gemstones are created= Jet.
Jet has been used as a gemstone since 1500 BC in Britain.
The ear wires are handmade using a finer piece of wire to give maximum comfort to those who have smaller ear holes.
