Living a good life means to me a life that is healthy. Being healthy means taking care of your whole being. In today's world, there are many who are overwhelmed and stressed. There are many ways to help reduce the stress, including Reiki and other alternative healing areas. But one way that everyone has equal access to is "beauty".
To have a healthy physical life, means to exercise, eat a balanced diet of whole foods, and take time to relax, center yourself, meditate by yourself, and have fun.
To live a healthy mental/emotional life is to keep your mind in the present moment, choose to heal all of your life's experiences that have you feeling depressed, anxious, fearful=negative. Choose who you spend time with wisely. Give loving support to your "Inner Child". You are here to love your Inner Child (yourself as a child ). Give the love to him/her that he/she never received as a child. And give yourself some time to be by yourself.
To live a healthy spiritual life is to stay in the present moment so you're aware of your inner guidance. Love your whole self, body, your feelings, and your personality no matter what. In God's eyes, you are "perfect". Remember you have a Holy spirit in you, who is a spark of Almighty God. This Holy spirit is in the exact likeness as you. All people have a Holy spirit in them. You are one with God. However you treat your body, yourself, and others, you are treating your Holy spirit the same way. When you criticize yourself or others, you do this also to your Holy spirit. When you demean yourself, you demean the Holy spirit in you. When you demean others, you do this to your Holy spirit inside of you.
Love yourself! Live your life and not someone Else's life. Always follow what you like to do or be, say in life. Your desires or curiosities are God's way of saying, this is you. This is your heart speaking. Follow your heart. Be authentic to yourself and others. Drop the fake mask.
Take time for yourself away from all electronics, all people, and all responsibilities for a bit of each day. This gives you the time and space to feel and know yourself. To be who you are. This gives you the time to release stress and stop any overwhelm.
To live a healthy life, means to love yourself. Part of doing this is taking care of yourself and your needs. One need is to reduce stress in our lives. One way to reduce stress is to take time for yourself and observe "beauty". What moves you?
When we feel stress and do nothing about it, you're in a negative place. By reducing the effects of stress, we are able to feel better and be healthier, physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Try:
- Strolling through nature, observing, feeling, smelling, and hearing all sounds.
The feel of a warm summer breeze.
The strong smell of Sweet Clover engulfing you.
The sensual sound and feel of a flock of Pelicans flying over you.
The sweet sound of a Mourning Dove cooing as you wake up in the morning.
The feel of laying down in lush green grass and watching the clouds pass by.
A gentle breeze blows a lone seed into a web to rest.
Observing a thick fog while listening to a distant fog horn calling to ships.
Listening to your favorite music that makes you feel relaxed, confident, and good.
- Art forms are also relaxing and able to help with stress reduction. Art that moves you in a positive way is pretty awesome.
The sense of feeling like a confident, beautiful person while looking at and wearing jewelry. Jewelry can feel sensual and feel awesome to wear.
- The beauty of crystals and stones, gazing in to their inner dimensions, brings about wonder and relaxation. Feel their textures.
- Looking at nature photos while working can help bring a sense of beauty to your work space. Imagining that perfect, beautiful photo is where you are now.
Anything that brings the feeling of calm and joy to you. That is the healing power of beauty.
